I enjoyed reading Saving the Sheriff by Roxanne Snopek! It was a sweet story about two people who on the surface couldn't be more different, but at the heart of things have a great amount of things in common.
Red is a sheriff who is a little bitter and very straight laced. He is a divorcee going through his first Christmas alone after his marriage ending. Frankie is a little bit of a free spirit who gets herself into a little trouble.

The chemistry between them is electric, the thoughts that run through their minds will make you as a reader chuckling.

I enjoyed this sweet story.

Mindy and Josh's story is completely sweet and beautiful! This book made me want everything that Christmas brings. Especially cookies and snow!
Mindy and Josh have a past. They used to be best friends until they weren't. Now she is a divorcee single mom of two boys and Josh is still single. Fate brings them both back together.

I Seriously enjoyed this book. I loved Lauren and Mack's journey into falling in love and letting go of issues that kept them from communicating their feelings. I Laughed, I cried and loved reading about them.
Ever's creates beautiful characters an imagery in her story so clear that you can see the story unfolding in your mind like a movie. Loved The Tycoon's Convinent Bride... and Baby.

FIVE OUT OF FIVE STARS! (even if I am sad series is over)
So I've read these books one by one from the beginning.

Slowly devouring each story. With each one, I laughed, cried and fell in love with a group of characters who became more than friends they were family. I watched (read) more and more characters come in, switch from supporting characters to main ones. My heart broke alongside each of their stories as MJ Carnal took me on this incredible journey.

MJ, you did great. Untamed was beautiful. Lily and Steve go through everything they do, you leading the way to enlighten us, creating these clear images of each in our mind and heart. Thank you for writing what you write. For sharing the beauty of each story, especially this particular one.

Lily and Steve's story might bring the end of the Moretti-Dickerson clan but I see beautiful things with LiQuid Regret.

The way you bring in characters and see them in so seamlessly is pure beauty.

To a future reader thinking about buying this book, stop thinking and one click. Trust me... It's great!

I ADORED this book. I seriously was not ready for it to end.
Lauren is a forty something librarian who has a crush. A crush on her Ex-husbands best friend.
Jake is a widower, who has tried to ignore how attractive he finds his friends ex.
One night where by coincidence they both throw caution to the wind, they end up in one of the hottest most awkward situations I would never have imagined. I loved Dahl's way to throw a pail of ice water on a VERY HOT SEXY situation that Lauren and Jake find themselves in. I found myself laughing out loud,  almost bursting into tears, and smiling as Lauren and Jake give into their attraction.
My only complaint...that this is a novella. I was left wanting to see where the story went and see Lauren and Jake's relationship develop even more because together they were sexy and so dang hot

So I have to start this review with me clapping, giving Julie Miller a standing ovation. I seriously enjoyed this book. Like stayed up late, even with knowing that I had to wake up early the next day, type of liked this book!
Deputy Commisioner of KCPD, George Madigan is older, by the books, rule following type of man. Elise Brown is his assistant. She is also smart and beautiful, and trying to get over having been humiliated. She had thought she had fallen in love in the past, but she soon realizes that was not the case.
As her stalker starts to persist, George is determined to keep her safe. By doing so, they both start to give into their attraction for one another. As sparks start to fly, I love the twists and turns and the way that George protects Elise and centers her from falling apart.
It kept my attention throughout the book, and the end I will admit I did not see coming. LOVED IT!

MY REVIEW:
Four out of Five Stars!

 

This was a great summer read. I really enjoyed Jeremy and Amanda's story.
I thought that it was utterly romantic that after a year Jeremy was done waiting on his booty to do something, realizing how he felt about Amanda and decided to crash Amanda's Hawaiian vacation.

Amanda is sweet and ready to move on. It's been a year since her fiancée walked away from her, without trying to work out their issues, and had decided that her Hawaiian vacation was the time for her to find someone to help her with her dryspell from sex. She is completely thrown off by the fact that Jeremy shows up out of no where.

It was sweet story. I liked that Jeremy wasn't some pushy broody alpha, in this story he felt real. He was a little nerdy, but something about being with Amanda and having been away from her for a year, brings out primal instincts. I have to say that was hot to read.

I liked a part of the book where Amanda is talking to her girlfriend and is telling her that they were so good together that when they had a problem, they didn't know how to handle it.

Thankfully Jeremy's plan of a grand gesture semi-worked out. There are some moments were I laughed out loud, some moments I teared up. I seriously enjoyed this book.

Enemies on Tap by Avery Flynn came out to being a total and utter surprise.
An utterly heart-warming, delightfully charming surprise.
Miranda Sweet's ancestors were a bit nutty, and the small town of Salvation knew it. They judged the Sweets by the faults of the people in the past. Logan Martin is the small town's royal prince.
Once upon a time in their high school days Miranda and Logan had tried to forget that their families were enemies, but it didn't work.

Now years later, Miranda is back in the small town trying to salvage her family's brewery. The problem is that Logan has other plans for the land in which the brewery stands.
I seriously enjoyed Flynn's writing. It was witty, funny, sexy and sweet. I loved the two main characters that she created into modern day Rome and Juliet with a twist. I fell in love with the small town of Salvation, the supporting characters, the foreshadowing (that I at least personally hope Flynn created) for future books that will take place in Salvation.
Enemies on Tap made my heart freeze at times, sink to my toes while made me laugh out loud at some of the situations. It was sexy and sweet!
A total must read!

This was my first time reading a book by Jennifer Apodaca and I genuinely enjoyed it.

I love the situation that this book has, where both main characters, Logan and Becky, need something from the other.

Becky is having a hard time, new mom with a tiny baby, strenuous work, her mom just past away and her ex, Dylan, babies father and grade A jerk is now out of prison bent on making her life hell.

Logan needs a wife before he turns thirty, so that he can have the land he wants to use to make a special camp for ex-soldiers with PTSD.

I loved Becky. She was smart, funny, vulnerable with a sprinkle of sassiness that made her different. She loves her child, and is willing to do anything to protect her. I thought Logan is seriously sexy, top notch alpha and just completely swoon worthy.

Loved the book and the supporting characters as well. I was glad that you are not left with too many questions at the end. I hope to read more from this series and author in the future!

This was my first Melanie Scott book, and I must say that I will most definitely keep an eye open for her books in the future.
Maggie Jameson is an intelligent, educated, independent woman who had a plan for her life. A plan that had a curveball thrown at her. Alex Winters is part of the curveball that was thrown at her, even though in her mind he's the devil himself, she finds herself extremely attracted to him.
I have to say that I genuinely liked this book. It was sweet, sexy and charming. There are moments that the thoughts that come from Maggie's head are frustrating, but she is a woman who is also figuring out her own life, and thankfully does it in a manner which has positive results. In a few words, Maggie as a character, even though at time frustrating, is brilliant. She is kind, loving, loyal, and looking out for the main people in the situation that occurs which are The Saints Baseball team.
I loved Alex Winters. He is sexy, charming, real, funny, loyal and slightly cocky. BUt cocky in a way he knows he is that good and can deliver. I liked seeing things from his POV at times, especially the emotional vulnerability  he feels at moments when it comes to Maggie.
Awesome summer read!
