FIVE STARS! first home run read of 2015!
Breaking Dragon by Jordan Marie surpassed my expectations of most anticipated books of 2015, and has set the bar high for books this year!
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review, and let me tell you, I will be One-Clicking this one when it goes live, even though I have it in my Kindle Docs. It is THAT good!
I fell in love with the two main characters, Dragon and Nicole, from the get go. Dragon has a very ugly view of himself personally. Nicole is genuine and hilarious. He is also the president of the Savages MC, while she is not from that background at all. Their attraction is instant, and even while they fight it it, once they give in it is explosive! Of course its more than a love story. It has action, mayhem and murder. One moment this book has you sweating because it gets steamy hot, to laughing out loud, to holding your breathe while your eyes tear up while you wait to see what will happen next.
I also enjoyed the multi-ethnicity's mentioned but not dwelled on. As an author Jordan Marie gave you enough to create an image in your mind, but not too much where it took away from the story. It made the book feel real. We live in a diverse world, and I enjoyed seeing in a book!
I'm excited to see what Jordan Marie will come up with next!! I loved the supporting cast, from Dani (Nicole's Bestie), to the other members of the Savages MC and even those from a different MC that is mentioned in the book. I can not wait to see what Jordan Marie has up her sleeve next!
